Research Background:
This product is a research blend of tesamorelin and ipamorelin, two synthetic peptides that act on distinct receptors in the growth hormone regulatory axis. Tesamorelin is a 44-amino-acid analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) with an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoyl modification that confers resistance to enzymatic degradation. Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that acts as a selective agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor). Preclinical and in vitro research has investigated tesamorelin’s binding to the GHRH receptor and downstream cAMP signaling in pituitary cells, and ipamorelin’s receptor selectivity and growth hormone release in cell-based and animal models.
